Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Practice Expedition
On Friday 18th and Saturday the 19th May, our Year 9 Bronze award students took part in their practice expedition in Chelmsford. The entire two days, they carried around their rucksack with all of their equipment inside, including all their food and camping gear.
With their rucksacks on their backs, they walked between 10 and 12km. And once they made it to camp on the first day, they needed to set up with camping gear and even cook for themselves. With belly’s full of food and a good well rested night, they then continued their journey the next day. Let’s hope they arrived on time without getting too lost!
